A Raisin in the Sun, is a play about dreams; what it means to dream big, to lose faith in your dreams, and to discover new dreams. It is also a story about family. A Raisin in the Sun portrays a few weeks in the life of the Youngers, an African-American family living on the South Side of Chicago in the 1950s.
